God's way of healing is a person, not a thing.
Jesus said. "I am the way, the truth, and the life." And He has ever been revealed to His people in all the ages by the Covenant Name, Jehovah Rophi, or, "I am the Lord that healeth thee," (John 14:6 and Exodus 15:26)
The Lord Jesus Christ is still the healer.
He can not change, for "He is the same yesterday, today, and forever," and He is still with us, for He said, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." (Hebrews 13:8 and Matthew 28:20) Because He is unchangeable, and because He is present, in Spirit, just as when in the flesh. He is the healer of His people.
Divine Healing rests on Christ's Atonement.
It was prophesied of Him, "Surely He hath borne our grief, (Hebrew, sicknesses) and carried our sorrows, and with His stripes we are healed," and it is expressly declared that this was fulfilled in His ministry of Healing, which still continues. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17)
Diseases can never be God's will.
It is the Devil's work consequent on sin, and it is impossible for the work of the Devil ever to be the will of God. Christ came to destroy the works of the Devil and when He was on earth He, "healed every sickness and every disease," and all these diseases are expressly declared to have been the "oppression of the Devil." (1 John 3:8, Matthew 4:23 and Acts 10:38.)
The gifts of Healing are permanent.
It is expressly declared that the "gifts and callings of God are without repentance,"' and the Gifts of Healing are amongst the nine Gifts of the Spirit to the Church. (Romans 11:29 and 1 Corinthians 12:8-11)
There are four modes of Divine Healing.
The first is the direct prayer of faith: the second, intercessory prayer of two or more: the third, the anointing of the elders with the prayer of faith; and fourth, the laying on of hands by those who believe, and whom God has prepared and called to that ministry. (Matthew 8:5-13, Matthew 18:19, James 5:14-15, Mark 16:18.)
Multitudes have been healed through faith in Jesus.
The writer knows of thousands of cases and has personally laid hands on scores of thousands of persons. Full information can be obtained at the meetings and Healing Rooms, 340 Rookery Bldg. The Mistake That Many Who Have Been Miraculously Healed Make, Leading to Their Condition Eventually Becoming Worse Than Their Original Sickness
Many people who get prayed over by pastors or ministry workers, get
miraculously healed or find their condition improving significantly.
However, one mistake that they commonly make after receiving their healing is that they go back to their old ways and habits.
Consequently, they may find their condition eventually getting worse than their original sickness.
In John 5, we see the Lord Jesus Christ warning the man whom He had healed at the Pool of Bethesda: “Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you.” (John 5:14; NLT)
We don’t know what happened to this man eventually, but his immediate response was interesting: “The man went away and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well.” (John 5:15; NIV).
You see, the man didn’t keep just quiet about the fact that he had received healed from God, but he seemed to have been so grateful, that he went around openly testifying about God’s goodness to him.
Psalm 118:17 (KJV) says “I shall not die, but live, and DECLARE THE WORKS OF THE LORD.” (emphasis added, and note what the Psalmist promised to do on recovery)
Have you recently been healed by God? If so, are you actively sharing with others what the Lord has done for you?
Or have you been keeping quiet because, shortly after receiving your healing, your focus has shifted to the pleasures of the world?
REPENT! “Or something even worse may happen to you”

Sin Can Cause Sickness in Christians
James 5:16 (NIV) alludes to the possibility that sin can cause sickness in believers:
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. (emphasis mine)That said, if a believer is sick, and if he discerns that his sickness is due to sin, he should consider making an appointment with an elder of his church, and confessing his sin to the elder, and having the elder pray for him and anointing him (that is, the sick believer) with oil (James 5:14-15, NIV):
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

Malaysian Man Makes Miraculous Recovery from Brain Death; Part of the Brain That Was Surgically Removed Due to Brain Cancer Later Restored
Malaysian Tony Low was pronounced brain dead by not one but four
physicians, who advised his wife to give consent for him to be taken off
life support. However, about a week into brain death, he miraculously
recovered and lived to tell his amazing experience while in coma.
Due to brain cancer, Low also had a substantial part of his brain surgically removed, but magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) performed sometime post-surgery showed that the part of the brain that was removed had been inexplicably restored, confounding his surgeon.
